Contingent Horizons: The York University Student Journal of Anthropology is currently accepting submissions for artworks for its 8th volume. As a peer-reviewed, open-access journal, we aim to showcase scholarly and creative works of academic excellence by graduate and undergraduate students.
We invite prospective contributors to submit their artwork for consideration. The artwork can be built on any medium (digital, painting, installation, sculpture, photography, etc.); however, the artwork must be photographable. We require contributors to submit photographs of their artwork with a title of the artwork, the date it was completed, and the print number (for prints only). The artwork should reflect the theme of "journeys", inclusive of but not limited to the sub-topics of growing, wandering, transcendence, a form of limitlessness and that speaks to diverse narratives.
